About The Artist

Jonathan Keeton studied watercolor painting in London with Geoffrey Dupree and theatre in Paris with Etienne Decroux, and worked as a schoolteacher, a waiter, an actor and a picture framer, and then spent thirty years as a pioneer in digital visual effects for television and film.
He moved to Santa Fe in 2011, in order to become a full time artist. In 2022 he moved to Portugal with his wife, the artist Melinda Tidwell and their two dogs.
Jonathan's paintings and photographs are in private collections in the United States and Europe.
